Get Over The "Bug Factor"
My wife still totally rejects the idea of eating "bugs." No matter how much evidence I show her that crickets are a much healthier, more sustainable protein source than beef, chicken, etc. So maybe we need to think of a better, more palatable name for crickets so we're not imaging the actual insect while we're eating it?
It took a bit of getting used to the taste, which is different than anything I've ever had. But it's an easy hurdle to overcome. I wouldn't recommend eating these things straight until you're used to the taste. Mix it with something you already like. I mixed mine with some honey roasted pistachios. Delicious.
Now I gotta figure out how to make "hamburgers" out of these things.
