Many healthly benefits

When I sustained a concussion I was looking for a healthy way to assit me with pain and inflammation, that is when I came accross the research on cricket protein. I was even more thrilled to find out I could get this product in Canada. I am a massage therapist and lately I've been having achy joints from doing deep tissue massage coupled with working out, so I started using this again. It has made a real difference. I have been using other proteins and finding that they bother my stomach and gastrointestinal system often causing stomach pain or gas. Since I switched back to Cricket protein I'm pleased to say, that is now resolved. Another thing I am very fond of about this product is it is a single ingrediet. We all know that is the healthy way to go. Would definately recommend this product. When making smoothies, I blend a little longer for a smoother texture, that is just a personal preference.

Great source of food for good health

I have been used cricket powder as the main protein source of the detox food recipe I am developing for treating the uncontrollable lump growth for my beloved Viszla for about 3 months. The sizes of her lumps seem reduced a lot. My family are very pleased with the result. Thanks for the great quality crickets from Entomofarms.

B12 without meat or pills

I don't like insects and the idea of eating them whole has always rebuked me, but I love your insect powder products. It was the perfect way for me to include these little critters in my diet. I add cricket powder in all my baked goods (muffins, coockies, banana/pumpkin bread, etc.), I sprinkle it on my oatmeal for breakfast... It's the best and most natural way to get all our B12 needs met without eating meat. Looking forward to trying out your mealworm powder...

Why Eat Insects?

The answer is simple. Insect food is good for your health thanks to all the wonderful nutrients that occur naturally and it is good for the planet’s resources and has a low ecological ‘foodprint’.

Nutritional Benefits of Insect Protein

Organic, Non-GMO cricket powder is a complete protein, boasting all 9 essential amino acids, is high in B12, fibre, iron, Omega 3 and 6, and many other micronutrients.

It is almost 70% protein, has more calcium than milk, more iron than spinach, and almost 20 times more B12 than beef.

The Planet’s Most Sustainable Superfood

Known as one of the most sustainable foods on our planet, Organic, Non-GMO cricket powder uses very few resources such as land, feed and water. The resources needed to produce 10 grams of insects is 12 times less than the resources required to create 10 grams of beef protein.

If a family of 4 ate 1 meal a week using insect protein, they would save the Earth 650,000 litres of fresh water over the span of a year.

Farming and Safety Standards

All of our insects are farmed with you in mind. We use high quality, organic, Non-GMO grain feed for our free-range, organic crickets. Our harvesting methods use the most human methods of euthanization and are developed to align with the standards applied for the human food industry with hygiene as a top priority.

Once the crickets are euthanized, they are rinsed in potable water, roasted, then ground into a fine powder. Rinse. Roast. Grind. Our insects are free from pesticides, insecticides, antibiotics, additives and preservatives. All inspection and licensing has been attained.
